Detailed Warehousing Studies

This is intended to cover in detail the whole warehousing operation or a targeted segment.
A study of existing operations supported by rigorous data analysis forms the foundation for new system designs. New ideas are then developed and data modelled upon varying change and growth scenarios. This is discussed and a target set providing a template for the new system designs.

A series of options are developed to meet the criteria. In many cases the alternative options provide varying levels of target fulfilment. Whilst a solution may meet 80% of the target requirement, the remaining 20% may require disproportionate expenditure. Alternatively, a proposed system may significantly exceed the target requirement, and whilst exceeding the provisional budget, assure capacity for long term growth as a cost effective long term solution.
